You need to create a free account on the Pelican Centre app before you use any of our facilities.
Once you’ve registered, you’ll be able to book PAYG classes, pool and gym sessions. You do not need a Membership to use our facilities (although you’ll get great value from one!).
Full Membership: ‘Access All Areas’ to unlimited Gym, Swim & Classes (excludes fun swims). Contracts are for a minimum of 6 months, and convert to a rolling monthly contract after the first 6 months. Please check full Terms & Conditions when purchasing your membership.
Your Direct Debit will be collected on either the 1st, 8th, 15th or 25th of each month, depending on the date you sign up. If you’re paying by Direct Debit, you will be charged a pro rata payment to cover the period between the day you sign up and your first Direct Debit collection date.
Choose a Concession membership only if you are:
- Aged 60+
- Aged 14-22. If you are over 18, you must present a valid student ID or TOTUM apprentice card showing that you are in full time education or undertaking an apprenticeship
You must complete an induction with a member of the Pelican Centre’s team before using the Gym or any equipment. This is a compulsory requirement, regardless of whether you have prior gym experience.

Concessions must be over 60, under 18, in full-time education or undertaking an apprenticeship (valid student card or TOTUM apprentice card must be presented).
