The Pelican Centre's running a series of intensive swimming courses during the school summer holidays, providing children with a great opportunity to give their Learn to Swim programme a boost.

Summer holiday intensive swimming courses & lessons for children at the Pelican Centre

Returning for 2022, our popular intensive lessons run throughout the school summer holidays and are a great way to give your child's swimming an extra boost to help them reach the next stage.

Take part in either small group lessons or a 1-2-1 session. All intensive courses are run by our professional swimming teachers and coaches, helping your child to feel more confident in the water and progress to their next stage.

Everything you need to know:

When: Monday-Thursday each week. See our timetable below. 1-2-1 sessions will be offered Monday-Thursday subject to availability.

Cost: Courses are £25. 1-2-1 sessions are £20 per 30 minute lesson.

The Pelican Centre is a community-led leisure facility. Our registered charity, run by volunteers and a small team of staff, offers swimming sessions, lessons, a fully-equipped gym and classes, and room hire for local groups and private parties. The Centre uses memberships to support the community with activities such as free swimming lessons, room hire, and facilities and toiletries for the homeless.
