The Pelican Centre is running a series of intensive swimming courses during the May half term and summer holiday, giving children a great opportunity to boost their Learn to Swim programme.

Returning for 2023, our popular intensive lessons run throughout May half term and the summer holidays, and are a great way to help your child reach the next stage.
Take part in either small group lessons or a 1-2-1 session. All intensive courses are run by our professional swimming teachers and coaches, helping your child to feel more confident in the water and progress to their next stage.
When: Monday-Thursday each week. See our timetable below. 1-2-1 sessions will be offered Monday-Thursday subject to availability.
Cost: 4-day course £26. 1-2-1 sessions are £25 per 30 min lesson. 45 min Stage 3+ lessons are £7.50 per lesson.
Since 2012, we've taught thousands of local children and adults to swim in our fully-restored, 25m historic pool. Led by highly experienced, professional swimming teachers, our Learn to Swim programme helps swimmers to gain confidence in the pool, progressing through each stage and allowing them to enjoy a lifetime of enjoyment, fun and fitness in the water.
